Lot of seven vintage sewing notions, buckles and buttons. Buckles: one each of mother of pearl (2"x1.25" rectangle), mother of pearl with black metal bar, two sharp prongs (1 7/8x1 3/8 oval), and rhinestones in clear plastic (2.25x 1.75 oval) gold color (foil?) on back of rhinestones. Buttons: one mother of pearl 2" round, silver-gray, with back of darker shell material, small metal prong for stitching in place. Three inlaid mother of pearl, contrasting shades of white and grey with rosy iridescense in a checker board pattern on black plastic backs, 1 3/8" in diameter. I have had most of these in my button box for more than 40 years. The 2" round button was acquired more recently and might be from India. The two small buckles have a beautiful depth to the color, which makes them hard to part with. Happy bidding!
