Hi, you're bidding on a plastic Tokyo, Japan JR EAST "SUICA" train pass. These are refillable passes which are in current use in Tokyo and Eastern Japan. They use IC or RFID smart-card technology to store value.The specific card you're bidding on has a 500-yen deposit (about $5) left on it, plus a few yen in usable credit. Part of the deposit can be returned to you if you take the ticket to a Tokyo train station chief and ask.I'm selling this because I'm an American living in Tokyo and thought that some folks from outside of Japan may be collecting things like this.
