Nice Centerfold Reproduction Advertisement for Vin Fiz Showing Route of C.P. Rogers Flight From Coast to Coast. This is a reproduction of an ad for Vin Fiz, the Ideal Drink. This advertising poster tells of Calbraith P. Rogers and his World Record Flight from coast to coast of America. A short paragraph at the edge of the page gives a description: As indicated by this Vin Fiz advertising poster, Rodgers' route to fame was strewn with crack-ups, conked-out engines and dead-stick landings, and milling crowds on the ground who didn't realize the danger they were in. The Alleghenies were the only mountains he had to negotiate; he skirted the Ozarks and then headed south to avoid the Rockies. This Ad is in Excellent condition with a fold down the center and some very small chips. The poster is in the Smithsonian Institution. This page measures 11" tall x 17".
