Offered here from the private collection of Star Wars Insider and Star Wars/Lucasfilm Fan Club founder Dan Madsen, is an extremely rare and one-of-a-kind Star Wars collectible! This set of high quality solid bronze medallions is THE #1 set of a very Limited Edition release of only 100! Produced in 1995 by the Official Lucasfilm/Star Wars Fan Club, only 100 of these absolutely beautiful bronze medallions, by master sculptor Lawrence A. Noble, were ever made. They sold out quickly and were never produced again. Noble's sculpting talent has been recognized by George Lucas himself as his lifesize bronze Yoda statue graces the front garden of Lucasfilm's main offices at the Presidio. In addition, his Limited Edition lifesize Yoda sculpture, available to the public, sold out! This complete rare set, featuring Darth Vader, Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi, each solid bronze but with a different patina to reflect the character, was hand-produced by Noble himself and put into this very special shadow box with the plaque, signed by the artist, which reads, "Star Wars Limited Edition Bronze Medallions. Custom made especially for Dan Madsen. No 1/100. L. Alan Noble." The acrylic case measures 18" X 12 1/2" and the medallions are resting on a blue fabric background. Bronze medallions measure a large 4" X 4" and are highly detailed and very heavy. Everything is in MINT condition and comes with a letter of authenticity by Star Wars Insider founder Dan Madsen. This is a unique and one-time only offer for a very rare and extremely beautiful "First Set" of Star Wars sculpture art by one of the great Star Wars artists working today.
