Up for sale is a new print of a magnificent magic poster for Harry Kellar, among the greatest magicians of all time. Unlike many of the magic posters of the era, this poster does not feature a specific trick, but concentrates on the man whose magic accompanies him, even on a walk in the winds. Dressed as a gentleman and carrying a cane, Kellar walks in the woods with devils and demons perched behind the trees, in the trees and following far behind. Done in 1900, Kellar would have been 51 at the time and certainly was at the top of his field. The only lettering is the name Kellar at the top. Harry Kellar (1849-1922) was one of a few magicians who helped establish the field of magic. While he was not as physically adept as some magicians, Kellar was a meticulous and practiced magician. This print is on a high-quality 100# glossy text paper. The actual image measures 10.5†(w) X 16.5†(h). The paper is 11†(w) x 17†(h). Therefore, it has a small border to allow for framing.
