Some of these beads have traveled at least three continents, and have graced numerous owners. Small chips, corrosion, and pitting are a normal part of their patina attesting to their age and extensive use. Bead size: 11mm thick by 20 mm in diameter A stunning blue-green Hebron trade bead, from my private collection! This type of bead was first made during the time of Christ, more than 2,000 years ago!Hebrons are becoming increasingly rare, these are a true rare treasure in a wonderful blue-green color! Additional Information: Hebron beads were made with dead sea salts and have wide holes for thick thread or cord. The most common color for these is a dull yellow ochre.
