Let me start off by saying I don't no the exact date of this sign. I'am thinking late 1890's to early 1900's.This sign was found in my Father's house. My Father bought a house in a little town in Ohio 1n 1977. The house was attached to what I call a big storage area. Attached to this storage area was also a garage. The Storage area use to be a store that was built in the 1880's. I was twelve when Dad bought the house. We found the sign by going up in the attic. Dad gave me the sign 10yrs. ago So you are bidding on a Chicago Corset Companies advertising sign. KABO is the type of corset. The Chicago Corset Company was famous for their corsets, because they were made with no brass eyelets. The Company was located in Aurora,Illinois. They produced the Kabo and Ball's Corset lines. THE SIGN IS MADE ON TIN. It measures alittle over 27 1/2in in Height and alittle over 17 1/2in in width. I see nothing on the sign that indicates who made it. I will post a picture tomorrow of the back. Now there are a few scratches of the front and some small stains, about 3 of them the size of a quater. I not going to try and clean it. My luck the paint would fall off. Shipping is free on this item. Also I will provide the coverage for inurance. I will have it mailed no later then the next day after receiving payment. GOOD LUCK!
